Pack & Paddle is a full service kayak fishing shop located in the heart of Paddlers Paradise - Lafayette, Louisiana. They carry not only every major line of kayaks, but also tons of accessories and rigging gear. While visiting you can also get outfitted with rods, reels and all the lures that work well in the area. Park & Paddle’s unique building is made from cypress boards that the current owner tore down with his grandfather in 1974. Pack & Paddle is more than just a store they are a regional resource for paddlers, fishermen and outdoorsmen in a variety of ways.
For folks new to kayak fishing or interested in getting into the sport, they offer: guided fishing experiences in the coastal Louisiana region, free location maps on key fishing areas in the state, video tips on techniques for fishing the local areas including where-to-go videos, guest speakers and in-store seminars on fishing techniques and locations, fun kayaking oriented events like "Beer & Gear" where reps put on a mini trade show and offer craft beers in their booths. To help assist with your kayak purchase, they offer: free demos every week of the year, a special prototype kayak to help with decision making on accessory installations, staff consisting of kayak fishermen with years of experience, 30 day love it or trade it policy that ensures you end up with the perfect fishing craft, and a great service department that can install everything from a pad eye to a fish finder.
