2018 Kayak Angler's Choice Awards - YakAttack Wins Product of the Year and Employer of the Year

The Kayak Anglers Choice Awards (KACA) is a joint venture between YakAngler.com and the kayak fishing community. Each year kayak anglers from across the globe nominate and vote for their favorites in various categories like Kayak Angler of the year, Kayak of the year, and more. The KACA are the only kayak fishing specific awards driven solely by kayak anglers. Nominees are chosen by the kayak fishing community, and winners were announced on Thursday, November 29th.

2018 has been a wild year. Cards were dealt and we were forced to make a lot of changes with our product line and in the eyes of our dealers and the kayak fishing community there was a bit of an unknown as to how we would rebound. Launching the Omega Rod Holder and the LockNLoad Mounting System were delayed due to new design ideas and the persistence to design and manufacture the absolute best product we can. The Omega Rod Holder and LockNLoad hit the market several months behind original projections, but once they arrived at our dealers we knew the wait was well worth it. Fast forward to the end of 2018 and the Omega and Omega Pro Rod Holders outsold any rod holder we have ever sold in the past nine years of business and is a product that will change the paddle sports and fishing industry forever.
